How We Work

Our installation service is designed to provide our clients with a clear view from their initial ideas through to a fully functional home entertainment or cinema system. We like to make sure that all of your home entertainment or building control equipment can be integrated into one complete system. Our design professionals pay great attention to detail, ensuring that all systems are integrated seamlessly within your environment.

Consultation and Design Process

Lifestyle:

To begin we need to discover what your requirement is. An initial visit to AV Inspirations will give you some great ideas for both AV and Building control systems. This is followed up with a home visit by one of our Systems Designers together we will ascertain your requirement and how you want to use your system.

Proposals:

Working within your budget we will prepare a fully comprehensive proposal. This will include our recommendations of product along with images and specifications. We may need to arrange an on-site survey.

System Design:

Upon acceptance of the proposal, AV Inspirations will produce a detailed system schematic along with wiring schedules prior to the installation commencing.

Installation Process

Stage 1

Upon commencement of the first fix stage, we will work alongside your Project / Site Manager and Electrician (or if you require we have our own installation teams) using our room by room cabling schedules and detailed plans , we can ensure correct placement of power sockets, sensors, along with speaker enclosures, wall boxes and screen housings.

Stage 2

The 2nd fix stage is where we mount the component parts of your system i.e.: items that are to be fixed to the floors, walls & ceilings (e.g. plasma wall-mounts, projector ceiling mounts, sensors or brackets and any In-wall / in-ceiling speakers or plaster in wall speakers).

Stage 3

Once the room is in a dust free environment we can commence the 3rd fix stage. This is the point when the electronic equipment such as TV’s, projectors, amplifiers and DVD players are installed and connected. Your remote control is then programmed (where specified) and basic sound and vision adjustments made to ensure your system components are working to their optimum levels. A final test is made to ensure the system is functioning correctly.

Project Handover

Once the system is up and running, and successfully calibrated we will provide the following after project sign off:

Comprehensive Tuition.
To ensure you are comfortable with operating all of the systems installed both manually and via remote control.
Guide.
Hand over all equipment instruction guides along with warranty cards and program codes etc.
Telephone and E-Mail Support.
Ongoing telephone and e-mail customer support.

Our service does not stop there. All of our systems are guaranteed by the manufacturers for a minimum of one year (in some instances more). We also offer the option to take out our “Preventative Maintenance Contract” which will cover you for parts and labour outside the manufacturers normal warranty period. In addition to this our annual online “Maintenance Contracts” have proved to be very popular, this allows us to remotely monitor and update firmware and provide further training online when necessary.

We are always on hand via e-mail or telephone to resolve any issues you may have.
